Principal's Message

On behalf of the Irymple Primary School community may I extend to you a very warm welcome. We look forward to working together with you to ensure your family’s involvement is both educationally rewarding and enjoyable for your child and yourself.

We strive to be a learning community that values deep understanding and produces young people who are creative, multi-skilled, adaptive, critical, cultured, compassionate, resilient and courageous and demonstrate this in their daily lives.

We foster the social – emotional – behavioural well being of our students by building skills and attitudes of being organised, getting along, showing confidence, persisting and resilience.

Our school purpose is to create a stimulating learning environment where each student can achieve their personal best academically and socially. Our school community values learning, pride, respect and safety.

As a member of the Irymple Primary School community you will have an opportunity to share in your child’s learning through supporting activities at home and in the classroom and also to join other parents to support the school through activities organised by our hard-working Parents’ Club, assisting our School Council with projects such as working bees or even assisting other school families through volunteering at the canteen. I encourage you to become involved in this fashion and so meet other parents and staff and also further assist the growth of our school.

Each child will be involved in a well planned, diverse curriculum where excellence is valued and there will be high expectations from the parents, the teachers, and the students of themselves.

I look forward to meeting you and your family and the opportunity to lead the learning in this great school.

Yvonne Madden,

Principal.
